Economic Empowerment

PROGRAM FOCUS: FINANCIAL LITERACY
Supports NCNW activities for increasing the number of women-owned businesses of our members and community. Educates our community in the areas of business development and retention. Presents information that is designed to help women and their families achieve their economic and financial aspirations. Partner with North Fulton Charities, Mary Hall Freedom House, and like organizations
Education STEM/STEAM
PROGRAM FOCUS: STEAM/STEM MENTORSHIP
Explores partnership opportunities with the school system and the community to promote interests in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) education and careers. Also includes outreach related to STEM/STEAM.
Health Equity

PROGRAM FOCUS: HEALTH
Promotes health and fitness by raising health care awareness in our community, particularly as it relates to health disparities affecting Black women and children. Partner with Wellstar Hospital to emphasize established programs. Also includes outreach related to health - connect with Social Justice, includes established committee of Good Health Wins.
Social Justice
Chair: Femi Ola
Meeting Day: 1st Thursday - 7:00PM
Advances NCNW's mission by educating, advocating, and mobilizing members and the North Fulton community around issues impacting Black women, families, and communities through public policy, civic engagement, and community partnerships. The committee promotes advocacy and awareness initiatives that advance equity and justice while empowering members to take meaningful civic action. The committee includes the POWER UP Voter Mobilization Subcommittee, which leads voter education, registration, protection, and mobilization efforts to increase civic participation and voter engagement.
Our work is driven by four core priorities—Economic Empowerment, Education, Health Equity, and Social Justice. These pillars guide our programs, which are dedicated to providing meaningful, direct support to individuals and families in our communities.
